$1,175,000 Settlement Following Vehicle Collision

Christopher L. Musmanno, a personal injury attorney with Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno, PC, reached a settlement in the case of a Plaintiff, a 39-year-old woman, who was a rear seat passenger in a vehicle that was struck by another vehicle that disregarded a red traffic light. There was significant property damage and, as a result of the accident, the Plaintiff suffered a fractured sternum;  injuries to her lower back, which required an immediate four-level lumbar discectomy and fusion procedure from T11-L2; and an aggravation of a preexisting kidney condition because of the fracture at T10. She was hospitalized for three days. Plaintiff also underwent treatment for her kidneys. The case settled for a total amount of $1,175,000.00.
