Steven R. Vanderlinden is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on complex business, fiduciary, probate, and estate-related disputes. He represents businesses, shareholders, fiduciaries, financial institutions, estates, and individuals in matters involving contract disputes, partnership and shareholder conflicts, business divorce claims, business torts, restrictive covenant litigation, trust and estate contests, guardianship proceedings, and contested probate matters.
Steve has extensive experience handling all phases of litigation, from emergency applications and complex discovery disputes through trial, arbitration, mediation, and appeal. He regularly appears before the Superior Court of New Jersey and has represented clients in state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. His practice frequently involves business valuation disputes, fiduciary accounting matters, electronically stored information and other complex discovery issues, and claims involving allegations of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and corporate mismanagement.
In addition to representing businesses and business owners in commercial disputes, Steve regularly represents executors, trustees, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and estates in contested probate and trust matters. His experience includes will contests, fiduciary accounting disputes, guardianship proceedings, and applications involving the administration, protection, and preservation of estate assets.
