Alyssa DeFuria is an associate in the firm’s Family/Matrimonial Practice Group. She brings several years of experience litigating and resolving complex, high-stakes family law cases throughout the state, including cases involving post-judgment termination of alimony, cohabitation and custody issues. She represents high net worth clients, clients in adult adoptions, and married and unmarried couples in all aspects of family law.
Alyssa’s approach is to work closely with each client and assist clients in understanding the divorce process and the challenges each client faces on an individual basis.
Before joining the firm, she practiced family law for several years with other prestigious New Jersey law firms and served as a Legal Clinic Associate for the City of New York.
Prior to entering practice, DeFuria served as a Legal Intern at the Morris and Sussex County Superior Court, as a Law Intern to the Honorable Catherine E. Enright, J.P.F.P. of Morris County and as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Michael E. Hubner, J.S.C. of Morris County.
