Matheu D. Nunn Co-Authors “A New Protocol to Determine the Competency of a Child Witness” in the New Jersey State Bar Association publication New Jersey Family Lawyer

Nunn, co-chair of the firm’s Family/Matrimonial Practice and general Appellate Practice, co-authored the New Jersey Family Lawyer article “A New Protocol to Determine the Competency of a Child Witness” with Christopher Musulin, a member of the Musulin Law Firm and a Fellow of the AAML. The authors analyze Judge Glenn A. Grant’s 2021 Notice to the Bar: Report and Recommendations of the Joint Committee on Assessing the Competency of Child Witnesses in conjunction with the New Jersey Supreme Court’s decision in State v. Bucso in 2016, offering their recommendation regarding interviews of young children, particularly in custody matters.
