Matheu D. Nunn Accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers

Nunn, partner and co-chair of the firm’s Family/Matrimonial Practice, has been accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). Nunn is among only 1500 family lawyers in the United States, less than 60 of whom practice in New Jersey, who have earned the distinction of AAML Fellowship by demonstrating the highest standards of matrimonial practice.
Fellowship in the AAML is achieved through a rigorous selection process for family lawyers who have been practicing for a minimum of ten years and who are board certified in their state. Fellows must also demonstrate a sufficient level of trial experience, receive recommendations from judges and other attorneys, and pass a national exam. Nunn is a partner and board member at Einhorn Barbarito, serving as co-chair of the firm’s General Appellate Practice in addition to the Family/Matrimonial Practice. A former county and municipal prosecutor, he is an experienced litigator who has tried jury and bench trials and has been counsel of record in more than 60 Appellate Division and Supreme Court matters, including precedent-setting decisions in several fields, which has earned him recognition in numerous local and national publications.
Founded in 1962, AAML is a nonprofit association of family lawyers who have experience and concentrate in all issues related to marriage, divorce, child custody and visitation, annulment, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, matters affecting unmarried cohabitants, business valuation and property distribution, alimony and support.
