January 13, 2023Gary R. Botwinick, Co-Managing Partner and Chair of Einhorn Barbarito’s Wills, Trusts & Estates and Taxation practice groups, is speaking at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s webinar on “Divorce and Retirement” on February 22, 2023.
The panel will discuss how to help clients maintain financial footing during divorce and retirement. Gary will present on “Death During Divorce – New Legislative Changes” and his co-panelists of financial professionals will present on topics including life insurance, tax planning, and strategies to maximize social security.

A sought-after lecturer on estate and tax topics, Gary has taught at NJICLE, the NY State Society of CPAs, and Fairleigh Dickinson University. A previous president of the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey, Gary was also a Board Member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section, and has been a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel since 2006. Gary is also the author of numerous tax articles and has been quoted in many legal and business publications.
Gary began his legal career as a US Tax Court litigator for the IRS. He also earned a LL.M. in Taxation from NYU. At Einhorn Barbarito, he advises clients in planning for unique family challenges including executive divorce, business succession, premarital planning, and charitable planning.
