Matheu Nunn Appointed As Morris Township Prosecutor
February 21, 2012 | Results may vary depending on your particular facts and legal circumstances.On February 15, 2012, the Morris Township Committee unanimously appointed Matheu D. Nunn, Esq. as the Morris Township Prosecutor. He will be sworn in on March 1st and serve through the end of 2012.
Matheu, a lifelong resident of Morris Township, follows a long line of family members in service to his hometown. First, his grandfather, George Nunn, Sr., was a member of the Morris Township Police Department before joining the Morris Township Fire Department; his uncle Benjamin Rideout was the Chief of Police; his uncle George Nunn, Jr. was a highly decorated detective in the department; and Matheu’s father, Thomas Nunn, Sr. will be retiring from the Morris Township Police Department after 44 years of service.
Additionally, prior to joining the law firm, Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC as an associate, Matheu was the Morris County Assistant prosecutor.
