(DENVILLE, N.J. – January 13, 2020) – Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC is pleased to announce that Patricia (Patti) L. Veres has rejoined the firm as partner in the Matrimonial/Family practice group. From 1999-2003 Veres was an associate with Einhorn Barbarito Frost & Botwinick; thereafter she was the founding partner of Veres & Riordan, LLC, where she exclusively practiced family law. Veres is also a Certified Court Approved Family Law Mediator.

Veres has built her career on an extensive trial and appellate practice with an emphasis on family law issues including divorce, custody, support, domestic violence, and related matters. She represents clients from the most straightforward of matters to the most complex, high conflict, high asset cases involving valuation of corporate interests.

Veres earned her J.D. from New York Law School in 1995, and her B.A. from Rutgers University, Douglass College, in 1990. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She has been recognized as a NJ Monthly Top Attorney and a N.J. Super Lawyer every year since 2012.
Veres is active in the community, and served as Councilwoman, Borough of Wharton, from 2017 to 2019. She is a member of the Morris County and New Jersey State Bar Associations, and volunteers as an Early Settlement Panelist for Morris County and as a Blue Ribbon panelist for Morris County.
In addition, she is a volunteer attorney for the County College of Morris Women’s Legal Center as well as for the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Project. She served on the District X (Morris & Sussex Counties) Fee Arbitration Committee as Secretary from 2013 to 2018, and previously on the District XB Ethics Committee from 2006 to 2011, and served as Chair from 2010-2011. She has been an Adjunct Professor for the Paralegal Studies Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Veres worked as the Municipal Public Defender in Denville Township in 1999.
