Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick P.C. in Denville named Thomas Snyder and Matheu Nunn co-chairs of its family and matrimonial practice group, effective Jan. 1.

Also effective Jan. 1, Matthew Rheingold has been elevated from counsel to partner in the taxation, wills, trusts and estates and the business/corporate practice groups.

Snyder has focused solely on family law for 25 years and Nunn primarily handles family law litigation, also co-chairing the firm’s general appellate practice with name partner Bonnie Frost.

Together Nunn and Snyder will lead a department that handles issues including alimony, child support, custody, parenting time, grandparents’ visitation, equitable distribution, and domestic violence cases.

According to the firm, Snyder has litigated landmark cases including cases presented to the New Jersey Supreme Court which have impacted international child custody litigation and litigation involving fathers’ rights to challenge false claims of paternity. Nunn has been counsel of record in more than 50 Appellate Division and Supreme Court matters, including precedent-setting family law decisions in Bisbing v. Bisbing, a child relocation case; and Quinn v. Quinn, a cohabitation case.

Rheingold focuses his practice on estate and trust administration, charitable planning and business succession planning, as well as controversial estate litigation and tax dispute matters. He joined Einhorn Barbarito in 2015 as an associate and was named counsel in 2019.
