The plaintiffs, a 40-year-old man, a 39-year-old woman, and an 18-year-old man, were traveling in the same vehicle when the collision occurred. The force of the impact caused the vehicle to spin three times before crashing into a guardrail.
All three occupants sustained significant injuries and ultimately required multiple surgical procedures to address injuries suffered in the crash.
“When several people are injured in the same collision, no two recoveries are exactly alike,” said Musmanno. “Each person’s injuries, treatment, and long-term outlook must be evaluated on their own. Effective representation means understanding how the same crash can have very different consequences for each individual.”
The matter settled for a total of $665,000.
