Andrew S. Berns Presenting at Somerset County Business Partnership HR Roundtable

On Wednesday, November 17^th Andrew S. Berns will be the featured presenter at the Somerset County Business Partnership’s HR Roundtable on the topic “Employment Classification – Employee or Independent Contractor?”

Andrew will discuss the impact of worker classification on taxes and benefits and the issues of differentiating between employees and independent contractors. He will also cover recent measures signed by Gov. Murphy in New Jersey and how the issue of classification has been magnified by the prevalence of gig workers.
