$405,000 Settlement from Fall in Commercial Store

Christopher L. Musmanno, a personal injury attorney with Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno, PC, reached a settlement in the case of a Plaintiff, a 52-year-old man who was walking in a commercial store to exit when his right foot stepped on melted pink ice cream that was on the floor. Plaintiff slipped and became airborne, parallel to the ground, and fell violently on his back. Plaintiff was not able to get up without assistance. The tile floor had no carpeting, caution signs, or any other warning signs of the area of the melted ice cream. Plaintiff sustained an aggravation to a pre-existing back injury and required surgery. The case settled for a total amount of $405,000.
