$300,000 Settlement For Slip And Fall Injuries Incurred On A Wet Tile Floor In Supermarket

Plaintiff,  a 72 year old man, was grocery shopping when he exited an aisle, turned right, then suddenly tripped and fell over a wide broom sweeper that had negligently been left at the end of the aisle.  He fell directly onto his face and heard a loud crack. He immediately went to the hospital and learned he fractured his neck. He was forced to wear a hard collar for three (3) months. The case settled for a total amount of $300,000.
