In addition to serving as Managing Partner, Nunn serves as Co-Chair of the Firm’s Family/Matrimonial and General Appellate Practice Groups. His practice spans complex divorce and custody litigation, high-stakes matrimonial appeals, premarital matters, and family law arbitration. He regularly represents high-profile and high-net-worth individuals in sophisticated family law disputes and is frequently retained as co-counsel throughout New Jersey for high-stakes trials and appellate matters.
A former prosecutor, Nunn has been counsel in more than 100 Appellate Division and/or Supreme Court matters and maintains a strong record of published family law decisions in New Jersey, including several landmark New Jersey Supreme Court decisions that have reshaped key areas of matrimonial law.
Nunn is a certified Matrimonial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), and an AAML-certified family law arbitrator. He is ranked in the 2026 Chambers High Net Worth Guide in the New Jersey Family/Matrimonial table and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2019 in the area of Family Law. The editors of the New Jersey Law Journal have selected Nunn three separate times as a finalist for the prestigious “Attorney of the Year” award. He has been listed in New Jersey Super Lawyers publication since 2013 and was selected to the NJBIZ Power Law List in 2025 and 2026. Nunn was also named the Essex County Bar Association’s 2025 “Family Law Practitioner of the Year.”
