Bonnie Frost To Moderate Family Law Program For Paralegals & New Attorneys

On Tuesday, August 5, 2014, Bonnie C. Frost, Esq., partner in the matrimonial department of the law firm of Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC, will be moderating and presenting “Family Law for Paralegals & New Attorneys: A 2014 Update”, a seminar being provided by The New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education.

The seminar is designed for paralegals and newly admitted attorneys who handle family law matters, and will focus on the technical requirements, skill and ethical concerns that paralegals need to know about to provide support in a family law practice. Topics will include the Court Rules, preparation of forms including the Case Information Statement (CIS), effective techniques for preparing motions and for trials, prepping for domestic violence hearings, post-divorce follow-up and more. Ms. Frost is a frequent lecturer for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. She is also the 2012 award recipient of Saul Tischler Award for Lifetime Achievement in Family Law and the 2011 recipient of the Excellence in Legal Education award from the NJICLE. Bonnie has authored various works in the area of family law including The Women’s Legal Rights Booklet. She also co- authored the State Bar, Family Law Section’s Position Paper on Matrimonial Law in 1997. In addition to being a member of the State Bar Family Law Executive Committee since 1994 and its past chair from 2005-2006, Bonnie is a Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney, Fellow of The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and Chair of the Disciplinary Review Board. The State Bar has recognized her contributions to its legislative efforts by awarding her the Distinguished Legislative Service Award in 2008. The Morris County Bar Association honored her with the Morris County Special Service Award in 2006. Bonnie has been instrumental in writing seven amicus curiae briefs on behalf of the State Bar and has argued more than 300 cases at the appellate level, of which 27 are published.
