$850,000 Settlement in Motor Vehicle Accident in Newark

Dennis Shlionsky, Partner in the Personal Injury Group, secured an $850,000 settlement in a motor vehicle accident matter. A box truck ran a stop sign and T-boned the firm’s client in Newark, causing neck and shoulder injuries that required spinal surgery. Liability was disputed, with the defense asserting verbal threshold, comparative negligence, and a 19-month gap in treatment.
