$400,000 Settlement Following Fall at Store

Christopher L. Musmanno, personal injury attorney with Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, reached a settlement in the case of a Plaintiff, age 63, who was injured when he slipped and fell while entering a store. Mats were poorly placed and there was no notice that the floor was slippery. Plaintiff sustained a tear to his knee and low back injuries. After conservative treatment failed to heal his pain, he underwent knee and low back surgery. Plaintiff continues to experience back pain and may require additional surgery in the future. The case was settled for a total amount of $400,000.
