$225,000 Settlement For Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff, presently thirty-five (35) years of age, was struck by a vehicle attempting to make a left turn. Plaintiff’ s vehicle sustained significant property damage, was towed from the scene and ultimately declared a total loss. Plaintiff sustained a high-signal disc herniation at C5-C6 with inferior migration, compression of the thecal sac and a mass effect on the cord; confirmed by positive upper extremity EMG/NCV findings for right C5-C6 radiculopathy. The injuries to her neck necessitated an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion with instrumentation at C5-C6 and Allograft from cadaver bone. The case settled for a total amount of $  225,000.00.
