$132,500 Total Settlement For Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff, age 27 at the time of the accident, was fully stopped for a red traffic light. At the aforesaid time and place, Defendant was traveling directly behind plaintiff’s vehicle and struck the rear plaintiff’s vehicle. Plaintiff immediately experienced pain in his back and neck. Plaintiff underwent conservative treatment but his pain did not resolve. After diagnostic testing revealed significant herniations in his lower back and neck, Plaintiff underwent a L5-S1 discectomy surgery in the hope that it would relieve Plaintiff’s pain and prevent further neurological injury.

The case settled for a total amount of $132,500, from Defendant’s insurance and Plaintiff’s underinsured motorist insurance.
