$100,000 Total Settlement For Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff, age sixty-three (63), at the time of the accident was slowing down for traffic on the Garden State Parkway ramp in Bloomfield, New Jersey. At the aforesaid time and place, Defendant was traveling directly behind Plaintiff’s vehicle and violently struck the rear of Plaintiff’s vehicle. The force of the impact was so great that Plaintiff’s vehicle was pushed into the vehicle in front of him, and that vehicle was then pushed into a vehicle in front of it. The injuries to Plaintiff’s neck were so severe that after a failed course of conservative care, he underwent four level posterior fusion surgery.

The case settled for the policy limit, $100,000, on December 20, 2019 prior to the scheduling of a trial.
