$310,000 Settlement Following Fall at Office Building

Christopher L. Musmanno, personal injury attorney with Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, reached a settlement in the case of a Plaintiff, age 67, who was injured in a fall while exiting an office building she was visiting. Plaintiff tripped over an approximately 5-inch ledge located between the exit door and the handicap ramp. There were no signs or cones indicating the height change. Plaintiff sustained injuries to her nose, neck, and back and required a three-level fusion surgery to heal her neck injury. The case was settled for a total amount of $310,000.
