Decedent/Plaintiff was fifty-six (56) years of age at the time of this accident. At the same time and place, Defendant was operating a vehicle, traveling in a westerly direction in the right lane on St. George Avenue. After switching lanes, he observed the decedent standing in the left lane approximately half way across the street near the double yellow line and struck the decedent. The decedent was propelled into the east bound lane where he was struck a second time by another vehicle. Decedent succumbed to an untimely death as a result of skeletal fractures with intracranial hemorrhage, cervical spinal epidural hemorrhage and liver lacerations.
