October 22, 2025

Jennifer FortunatoEinhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno, PC, is pleased to announce that Jennifer Fortunato, partner in the Firm’s Family/Matrimonial Practice, has been accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). Her acceptance brings the Firm’s number of AAML Fellows to four, including Matheu D. Nunn, Co-Managing Partner and co-chair of the firm’s Family/Matrimonial Practice and Appellate Practice,  Senior Partner Patricia M. Barbarito and Partner Bonnie C. Frost. They are among only 1,500 family lawyers in the United States, less than 50 of whom practice in New Jersey, who have earned the distinction of AAML Fellowship by demonstrating the highest standards of matrimonial practice.

“I am very happy to see that the AAML has recognized Jennifer’s intellect, experience and dedication to the practice of family law,” said Nunn.

Fellowship in the AAML is achieved through a rigorous selection process for family lawyers who have been practicing for a minimum of ten years and who are board-certified in their state. Fellows must also demonstrate a sufficient level of trial experience, receive recommendations from judges and other attorneys, and pass a national exam. The full qualification and application process is available here.

Fortunato is fluent in every aspect of family law, including divorce, separation, child support and custody, domestic violence, prenuptial agreements, palimony, adoption, same-sex marriage, civil unions, other domestic matters, and appellate work. She handles high-conflict family law cases as well as cases where alternative dispute resolution is warranted.

Founded in 1962, AAML is a nonprofit association of family lawyers who have experience and concentrate in all issues related to marriage, divorce, child custody and visitation, annulment, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, matters affecting unmarried cohabitants, business valuation and property distribution, alimony and support.
