$350,000 Settlement Following Fall on Apartment Building’s Exterior Steps

Christopher L. Musmanno, a personal injury attorney with Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno, PC, reached a settlement in the case of a Plaintiff, a 38-year-old woman who was ascending the exterior metal steps of her apartment building when a metal step unexpectedly collapsed from underneath her, causing her to fall hard and land on the previous step. As a result of this accident, she injured her lower back. She attempted conservative care, but her pain remained, and she ultimately required a lower back surgery. The case settled for a total amount of $350,000.
