$100,000 Total Settlement for Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff was thirty-four (34) years of age at the time of this accident. Defendant negligently, carelessly, and recklessly operated his motor vehicle by disregarding a stop sign and striking the rear passenger side of Plaintiff’ s vehicle. Defendant told the responding police officer that she did not see the stop sign until it was too late. Plaintiff experienced constant pain in his neck and back, which radiated down to his shoulders and arms, as well as to his pelvis. Despite diligent participation in conservative care, his pain persisted. He sought treatment with a neurosurgeon who recommended a discectomy and posterolateral fusion procedure in his lower back in hopes of relieving Plaintiff’ s pain and preventing further neurological injury.

Plaintiff underwent back surgery and on January 13, 2020, the case settled for the policy limits of $100,000.
