$900,000 Settlement for Pedestrian Injured from Ice Falling from Skyscraper

Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno, PC recently reached a settlement for a New Jersey man seriously injured by a chunk of ice that had fallen from a New York City skyscraper. The building’s safety managers observed the falling ice but did not take adequate precautions to protect pedestrians on the busy sidewalk below. The case was settled for a total amount of $900,000.
