Mark Wechsler Receives Equal Justice Medal From Legal Services Of New JerseyJune 7, 2019
(DENVILLE, N.J. – June 6, 2019) – Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC is pleased to announce that Mark Wechsler, a partner in the firm’s Family Law Practice, has received the Equal Justice Medal from the Legal Services of New Jersey (LSNJ) in recognition of his pro bono legal work.
The Equal Justice Awards recognize the significant efforts of those in the private and public sectors to provide legal assistance to those in poverty. Wechsler and other honorees from around the state were recognized at the LSNJ’s Equal Justice Awards reception June 3 in Hamilton Township, N.J.

Wechsler focuses his practice on complex family law litigation, including trial court litigation, mediation, and arbitration. He handles matters including matrimonial actions, complex asset valuation, custody/high conflict cases, equitable distribution, alimony/spousal support, child support, domestic violence, prenuptial agreements, cohabitation, enforcement, and modification of judgments, orders and agreements. Among his many accomplishments over the past 20 years, Wechsler litigated one of the state’s lead cases on the complex issue of international jurisdiction in child custody disputes.
Wechsler is a past president of both the Morris County Bar Association and the Morris County Bar Foundation. Prior to practicing law, Wechsler earned a graduate degree in criminal justice and criminology and worked for the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.
LSNJ heads New Jersey’s Legal Services system, which is a network of five independent, non-profit corporations that provides free essential legal aid in civil matters to low-income people through offices in all 21 counties of the state. Since its inception, LSNJ has provided representation in more than 2.4 million cases.
