Einhorn Barbarito Partner Mark Wechsler selected as a Law Journal Mentor by the New Jersey Law JournalMay 8, 2018
Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC, is pleased to announce that Family Law Partner Mark Wechsler, a resident of Montville, has been selected as a Law Journal Mentor by the New Jersey Law Journal. The recognition of mentorship is a new category of the Journal’s 2018 Professional Excellence Awards.
“For more than 25 years, Mark has built a reputation as a thoughtful and effective matrimonial attorney and mentor, garnering respect and admiration from his colleagues, and his trial skills are unparalleled,” says Patricia M. Barbarito, Esq., Managing Partner of Einhorn Barbarito.
According to the New Jersey Law Journal, the award recognizes attorneys who “make time to be leaders: thought leaders, leaders to the up-and-coming generation of practitioners, and leaders in their practice and industry areas.”
“Mark’s mentees range from new lawyers to seasoned practitioners,” says Barbarito. “They connect with him for advice on career paths, business development, oral advocacy and litigation strategy, and much more, all of which he offers sincerely and selflessly.”
“Mark’s role as lawyer-mentor is not limited to his involvement in my life. He comes in at 4:00 a.m. most days because from 9:00 a.m. on, his office becomes a revolving door of attorneys seeking advice,” said Matheu D. Nunn, partner at the firm.
Wechsler sits on the Montville Zoning Board of Adjustments, and does pro bono work for Legal Services of Northwest Jersey [LSNWJ]. Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney and AV-preeminent rated for legal ability and ethical standards by Martindale Hubbell, Wechsler earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law, J.D., his M.A. from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany. He has been selected for inclusion in the 2018 Best Lawyers in America in the field of Family Law, has been named a New Jersey Super Lawyer every year since 2005, and received the Morris County Bar Association, Family Practice Award in 2016.
Wechsler will be honored at the Professional Excellence Awards Dinner on Thursday, June 21, at the Brooklake Country Club in Florham Park.
