Bonnie Frost Joins Discussion On “Divorce For Those Over 50” In American Law JournalOctober 25, 2012
On Sunday, October 14th, a rebroadcast of The American Law Journal aired with the program: Graying Divorcees: Breaking Up after 50
Bonnie C. Frost, Esq., partner with the firm Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC appeared on the show as a guest to discuss the topic of people who divorce after the age of 50. Ms. Frost practices matrimonial law. Along with Ms. Frost, Donald F. Spry, Esq., another matrimonial attorney, Susan Gregory Thomas, author and a former senior editor at U.S. News and World Reports, and moderator/attorney Christopher Naughton discuss the unique issues that occur in these situations.
For those over 50 years old, the number of divorces is way up. Baby Boomers’ divorce rates have doubled in the past few years. In these instances, Ms. Frost explains during the show, it is most likely more about division of assets and finances rather than worrying about custody and visitation as most of the children are already grown and out of the house.
