Whether you are an employer or an employee, when injuries occur at work, the area of law that governs is called Workers’ Compensation or “Workers’ Comp”. Workers’ compensation is a form of insurance providing wage replacement and medical benefits to employees injured in the course of employment.

Since we spend most of our adult lives at work, sometimes people unfortunately get injured at their jobs. In New Jersey, if you are injured at work, the workers’ compensation courts allow the filing of two types of cases:
