Article updated to reflect that the New Jersey Supreme Court has declined to take the case, which allows our clients to adopt.
“We think our story is important for other adoptive parents to hear,” the unnamed adoptive couple said in a statement released through their attorney. “We are just grateful to our legal team of Matheu Nunn and Deb Guston for all they have done to help us formally adopt our son after 19 months of being his mom and dad.”
