$600,000 Settlement for Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident

Christopher L. Musmanno, personal injury attorney with Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, reached a settlement in the case of a Plaintiff, age 54, who was at a tavern with a friend, who was overserved. They then left in Defendant’s vehicle with Plaintiff as a passenger in the vehicle. The Defendant driver then lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway crashing into a PSE&G tension pole and through a retaining wall before finally coming to rest. The primary point of impact with the tension pole was the front passenger’s side of the vehicle, resulting in severe, and ultimately, fatal injuries sustained by Plaintiff. The case settled for a total amount of $600,000, payable by the Defendant Tavern and Defendant Driver.
