$400,000 Total Settlement In Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff husband, age seventy-four (74) years of age at the time of this accident and Plaintiff wife, age sixty-seven (67) years of age at the time of this accident, were stopped at an intersection when they were rear-ended. The force of the impact was so great that it pushed their vehicle into the opposite lane of travel and rendered them unconscious. As a result of this accident, Plaintiff husband suffered a spinal fracture and multiple rib fractures, resulting in ICU level of support causing him to be inpatient at a medical center for 10 days and subsequent care at an in-patient rehabilitation center. Plaintiff wife sustained a concussion, fractured nose, one fractured rib, and fractures at the end plates at two levels in her thoracic spine. The case settled for a total amount of $ 400,000.00, prior to scheduling of a trial, as to both Plaintiffs.
