$400,000 Settlement for Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff, aged seventy-one (71) years of age at the time of this accident,  was proceeding westbound in the right lane on Route 10 in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey. At the aforesaid time and place, defendant was operating a vehicle which was proceeding westbound in the left lane on Route 10 in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey. Defendant attempted to change lanes into the right lane, but, violently strike the driver  side of Plaintiff’s vehicle.  As a result of the impact, Plaintiff’ s vehicle was propelled into the center median, causing extensive property damage.  Plaintiff sustained acute fractures of the medial left superior pubic ramus and mid left interior pubic ramus with displacement and two herniated discs in her lower back. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was admitted to the hospital for several days. She underwent extensive physical therapy but ultimately required L3-L5 decompression and fusion procedure with instrumentation due to the seriousness of her low back injury.

The case settled for $400,000.
