$275,000 Settlement for Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff, aged fifty-four (54) years of age at the time of this accident, was operating a vehicle on Route 10 east, when his struck and vehicle was pushed into a traffic light; the traffic light then fell on top of his vehicle.  He lost consciousness for a period of time. The force of the impact was so great, it caused over $55,000.00 of property damage and his vehicle was determined a total loss. Plaintiff sustained injuries to his cervical and lumbar spine including bilateral radiculopathies. He also sustained rib fractures. Plaintiff underwent conservative treatment and pain management, but his pain failed to resolved. He eventually underwent a L4-L5 and L5-S1 diskectomy and decompression procedure.

The case settled for a total amount of $275,000.
