$270,000 Settlement for Slip and Fall on Ice

Plaintiff, forty-four (44) years of age,  when she arrived at a home to babysit the children. Before entering the home, Plaintiff  intended to bring the garbage cans inside. While walking toward the garbage cans, Plaintiff slipped and fell at the bottom of the driveway that had never been salted. She landed on her  left knee and left side. Plaintiff sustained a knee fracture and required two surgical interventions, including an open reduction and internal fixation utilizing K-wire and screws and  left knee arthroscopy with lysis of adhesions, closed manipulation and removal of hardware months later. The case settled for a total amount of $ 270,000.00.
