$265,000 Settlement for Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff, 37 years old at the time of the accident, was in the course of his employment as a tow truck operator. He stopped his vehicle to avoid a large tire on the roadway in the right lane of the highway. Defendant failed to observe Plaintiff’s vehicle because he was looking at his GPS, causing him to strike the rear of Plaintiff’ s vehicle. Plaintiff sustained a spinal fracture that required anterior and posterior lumbar discectomy and fusion surgery. The case settled for a total amount of $ 265,000.00.
