$250,000 Total Settlement for Motor Vehicle Accident

Plaintiff is presently 61 years old and is right-hand dominant.  Plaintiff was sixty (60) years of age at the time of this accident. The defendant negligently, carelessly, and recklessly operated her motor vehicle by disregarding a stop sign, and failing to yield the right of way, pulling directly in front of Plaintiff’ s vehicle and striking his vehicle. At the scene of the accident, Plaintiff briefly lost consciousness. When he awoke, he  was experiencing severe neck pain, as well as the inability to move his arms. As a result of this accident, Plaintiff sustained a traumatic fracture to the vertebra in his neck at C3 and C4, tearing the ligaments and pushing the disc onto the spinal cord, requiring emergency and immediate anterior cervical discectomy and fusion surgery.

The case settled for the policy limits of $250,000.
