$200,000 Total Settlement For Pedestrian Struck By Motor Vehicle

Plaintiff, thirty-seven (37) years of age at the time of this accident, was a pedestrian attempting to cross a street in a marked crosswalk. At the aforesaid time and place, Defendant was proceeding down that street and struck Plaintiff while she was in the crosswalk. Plaintiff was violently thrown to the ground and immediately complained of pain. Plaintiff suffered multiple fractures in her left foot. Initially, her orthopedist recommended that she treat non-operatively, which Plaintiff did, undergoing a course of physical therapy. Unfortunately, Plaintiff’s foot fractures did not heal and Plaintiff required surgery, utilizing a plate and screws.

The case settled on May 11, 2020, for a total amount of $200,000, prior to the scheduling of trial.
